Not sure if your a fan of the Real Housewives Series, but I love all the foolish and fakery. Below is Cynthia Baliey and her new husband Peter Thomas on their wedding day. I absolutely love her wedding dress and but I am definitely not sure about the color. I understand that she was going for a non traditional wedding but the verdict is still out.

One thing I can say is depending on what type of non traditional dress you get you can save a boat load of cash on your wedding day attire. You can find an amazing dress in your local department store (I LOVE the formal dresses at Nordstrom.com) or even rent a dress from a business like Rent the Runway.
So Budget Brides, what do you think about a non traditional color for your wedding dress? Would this work for you?

I love her gown! A non-traditional color is not for me, but for the right bride who wants to rock it, I think it's great.
Yup, I love it. I don't think it would have worked in white.. it would have lost all of its dimension. I'm all for the non-traditional color, gown, wedding..everything.
